I woke, of course
had a chat with a horse
let the chickens
run loose in the yard
took a warm shower
and went on to scour
the lime and the grime
from the door
moved on to the garden
with the squash still in flower
and leafy greens coming on late
Cut a bunch for the basket
my task if you ask it
is kimchi and taters to bake ~
