Lions Mane

I remember meeting you
then waiting here for forever
Walked your dark horse to the river
felt the sparks n shivers

Days ran into weeks
then months and years
seemed never ending
Grooming trimming
hooves and hair the
dark horse needed tending

Dark horse healed with time and
found his place among the flowers
running towards me tail aloft
brightening my hours

My own learning how to care for
dark horse now my friend
one heart journey living here
until we reach the end

You returned to find one day
a horse within a man
living woven in a dream
with loves abiding hand ~
